About the Author
Eddie Smith is the founder and president of the U.S. PRAYER CENTER, and his wife, Alice, is executive director. Both are regular contributors to Charisma, Ministries Today, SpiritLed Woman and Pray! magazine, and are frequent guests on The 700 Club. Eddie Smith coordinates Pray USA! , an annual fasting and prayer initiative mobilizing millions of Christians to fast and pray. Alice is an intercessor and internationally known conference speaker and author. Before starting the U.S. PRAYER CENTER in 1993, the Smiths served sixteen years in itinerant evangelism and fourteen years in the local church. They have four children and four grandchildren.
